The Origin of The Horde
The Orc Wars, the second burn in the MidEvils universe, marked a violent turning point in the history of Midland. Ignited by the pillaging of the local watering hole, Merlin's Beard, the conflict began on November 14th as a brutal campaign of attrition.
In response to the attack, 600 MidEvil warriors were sent into the fray to face bloodthirsty Orcs in 2-on-1 combat. The resulting war was devastatingly efficient: while a heroic few survived, the majority of the MidEvil combatants were "burned" in defeat, permanently reducing Midland's population.
From the ashes of this war, 300 Orcs emerged to claim their place in society, coalescing into a new faction known as The Horde, the youngest and most battle-hardened group in Midland.
What is The Horde DAO?
The Horde DAO is established with a dual mandate: to champion the interests of Orc NFT holders and to fortify the broader MidEvils ecosystem.
Functioning as the organized voice of the 300 survivors, the DAO works to maximize the value and utility of the Orc collection while actively contributing to the growth and stability of the entire project.
It stands as a unified force within Midland, ensuring that the youngest faction serves not just its own members, but acts as a cornerstone for the community's future.
